Alexander is the Education Manager at the Right Livelihood Foundation based in Geneva. In his work, he aims to build bridges between the Laureates, civil society organisations and educational institutions inside and outside the academic world. He supports the network of the Right Livelihood Colleges and coordinates the cooperation with the Global Campus of Human Rights.
Alexander holds a Bachelors degree in social sciences (Humboldt University Berlin) and a Masters Degree in Economics (Cusanus Hochschule, Bernkastel-Kues). He has working experience at the German Parliament in Berlin and several NGOs in the field of education and political participation. He is an alumnus of the German Academic Scholarship Foundation, author of a book about the climate crisis and has written journal articles about postcolonial perspectives on development cooperation.
